# Cache Redis Store

`@stigg/cache-redis-store` provides the Redis-backed cache store implementation — including distributed locking and single-execution helpers — built on the shared entities from [Cache Core](https://docs.stigg.io/api-and-sdks/changelog/backend-graphql/cache-core). It's used by `persistent-cache-service` and by `@stigg/node-server-sdk`'s Redis integration.

**1.32.0**

2026-10-19

* Changed: requires `ioredis` 5.6.1 or later, up from 5.2.4.
* Added: `getRedisClient()` and `getTtl()` on the Redis cache service, for a host that writes its own keys on the same connection.
* Updated `@stigg/cache-core` to 1.31.0.

**1.31.0**

2026-10-12

* Updated `@stigg/cache-core` to 1.30.0. No change to `cache-redis-store` itself.

**1.30.0**

2026-10-11

* Updated `@stigg/cache-core` to 1.29.0. No change to `cache-redis-store` itself.

**1.29.1**

2026-09-28

* Updated `@stigg/cache-core` to 1.28.1. No change to `cache-redis-store` itself.

**1.29.0**

2026-09-17

* Added: entitlement reads now return the time the customer's entitlements were written, read from the existing timestamp key in the same round trip.
* Changed: a customer whose entitlements timestamp is unreadable now reads as a cache miss, matching how a usage read already treats a torn entry.
* Requires `@stigg/cache-core` 1.28.0.

**1.28.0**

2026-09-02

* Versions 1.14.0 through 1.28.0 (2026-06-01 to 2026-09-02) carried no functional change to `cache-redis-store` itself. 1.14.0 patched vulnerable transitive dependencies; the rest only bumped the package version to track releases of other packages in the monorepo.

**1.13.0**

2026-05-18

* Added: support for disabling Redis cache expiration by setting `ttl` to a negative value (e.g. `-1`, matching Redis's own no-expiry convention). Entries are then written without the `EX` flag and remain authoritative through extended Stigg Cloud outages. Default behavior is unchanged (TTL stays on when `ttl` is unset). Consumed by `@stigg/node-server-sdk` v4.41.0+ (`redis.ttl: -1`) and `persistent-cache-service` v3.6.1+ (`KEYS_TTL_IN_SECS=-1`) for end-to-end no-expiry behavior.

**1.1.0**

2026-02-25

* Initial release. Extracted the Redis cache store, distributed locks, and cache key helpers into a standalone package, published alongside `@stigg/cache-core`. No behavior change from the extraction itself.
